Who am I?
I am a contributing writer at The Guardian and a contributor at The Nation, where I primarily cover extinction, extraction and the U.S. Interior Department. My work has also appeared in The New York Times, The Intercept, Outside, HuffPost, High Country News, WNYC’s The Takeaway, Science Friday, and numerous other outlets. I like to file FOIA requests, and I like helping other people file them too. Sometimes they spark federal investigations! Before journalism, I was a trail worker on the Nez Perce National Forest in Idaho.
